MURDER
Woman's Body Exhumed
In consequence of John Mann Crane, driver, of Yallourn, having been charged with the murder by poisoning of Elsie Gladys Moore at Yallourn, on 14th. February, the body of the deceased woman, which was interred in the Hazelwood Cemetery, near Morwell, about six weeks ago, was exhumed on Friday, in the presence of Mr. Noonan, P.M. (coroner), Mr. S. M. Watson, J.P. (deputy coroner), Dr. Mollison (Government pathologist), Detective Lee, Superintendent Considine, Senior Constable Collier and Dr. H. W. Mitchell.
A post mortem examination was conducted by Dr. Mollison, and internal portions of the body were removed for further examination.
When John Mann, 42 years, crane driver, appeared at the City Court on Friday on a charge that at Yallourn on 14th. February, 1932, he murdered Elsie Gladys Moore, aged 36 years, the police applied for accused to be remanded for a week.
Accused was remanded to appear at the City Court on 7th. April.
