BOMB EXPLOSION.


     Superintendent Koetsveld has detailed Senior-detective Madin to join Detective-sergeant Holden in his inquiries into the wounding of Percy Jenkins outside his shop at the comer of Evelyn and Albert streets, East Melbourne, early on the morning of July 16, and the explosion at the shop on Wednesday. Yesterday the detectives brought a man to Russell street headquarters and questioned him closely concerning certain incidents connected with the shooting of Jenkins and the explosion. Several well-known criminals were also questioned yesterday by the detectives.
