COW ATTACKS CHILD.

     CASTERTON. Wednesday. — Oliver Cox, two years old, son of Mr. Robert Cox, of Jackson-street, while playing in his father's yard yesterday, was attacked by a pet Jersey cow, which inflicted a large gash in the child's abdomen. Dr. Deravin put eleven stitches in the wound. The child is progressing favourably.
